Associate degree or higher
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hospice
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois (IL)
Valid Driver’s License, reliable mode of transportation, and active auto insurance

Overview
Our Award Winning Client is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Weekend Hospice Registered Nurse to join their exceptional care team. This full-time role involves providing and managing individualized patient care plans, focusing on patients in Glen Carbon, IL and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate time management skills, the ability to meet charting deadlines, and have a strong background in hospice or acute care nursing.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and manage comprehensive patient care plans for hospice patients
Serve patients in Glen Carbon and neighboring communities
Consistently meet critical charting and documentation deadlines
Self-manage daily schedule and workflow with minimal supervision
Schedule and Shift Details
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Plus one additional day (Friday or Monday): 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (based on candidate’s preference)
Candidates available only for Saturday & Sunday will also be considered
Travel Requirements
Local travel required
Territory: Glen Carbon, IL and surrounding areas
Top Candidate Experience Preferences
Hospice nursing experience highly preferred
Background in acute/critical care, Med/Surg, Telemetry, or long-term care (LTC)
