Technical Surveillance Countermeasure (TSCM) Technician - TS/SCI

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Surveillance Countermeasure (TSCM) Technician to perform inspections on government installations, focusing on identifying and neutralizing unauthorized networks (such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) to protect national security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of office spaces to detect and mitigate unauthorized surveillance threats.
- Follow TSCM protocols and standards meticulously for thorough inspections.
- Maintain precise documentation of all inspection activities, findings, and daily operations.
- Present clear, concise briefings on inspection outcomes during operational meetings and staff updates.
- Prepare detailed written reports in PFPA-SSD format within five days of each investigation, outlining findings and recommendations.
- Operate and manage advanced radio frequency monitoring equipment to detect anomalies and maintain a database of historical signal threats.
- Analyze signal data, resolve detected anomalies, and provide recommendations on neutralizing threat signals.
- Conduct mandated mobile device detection sweeps in compliance with PFPA standards.
- Support TSCM investigations, including comprehensive searches across various signal transmission mediums and network systems.
- Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA workplace policies.
- Complete all mandatory training within the required timeframes.
- Coordinate and complete business matters proactively in support of PFPA operations.
- Adhere to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, meeting performance standards.
- Provide briefings to senior DoD officials and policy decision-makers as needed.
Requirements:
- Completion of the Department of Defense TSCM Service School or the Interagency Training Center Fundamentals Course.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in TSCM.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Ability to work on-site at the Pentagon or other DoD facilities within the National Capital Region (NCR).
- Valid driver’s license without restrictions.
Location: On-site in Washington, D.C.
Compensation: $120,000 - $165,000
