Location: Within a 50-mile radius of Davenport, IA
Job Description: Join our team as Team Drivers responsible for delivering automotive aftermarket parts to Honda dealerships across IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, and WI. This role involves running team routes to ensure timely deliveries, with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction. Night routes may require unlocking dealership gates, unloading trailers, and handling various automotive parts.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday schedule with start times between 5 PM to midnight.
- Overnight deliveries with return home in the morning.
- Guaranteed weekend home time from Saturday night to Sunday night. Start back out on Monday evening.
Home Time:
- Drivers return home daily/nightly depending on proximity to Davenport, IA.
Freight Types:
- Touch freight: Automotive parts including cages, totes, and loose pieces.
Running Lanes:
- Covering IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, WI
Miles:
- Team: Average 3,000 miles per week with approximately 8 stops.
Requirements:
- Tractor-trailer experience.
- Physical ability to handle and secure automotive parts ranging from 40-75 lbs.
- Comfortable maneuvering tractor-trailers in tight car lot corridors.
