Fat Daddy’s Host and Food Runner Job Description and Responsibilities
- Greet guests at the door, remember you are the restaurants’ first impression
- Seat guests and present clean menus in a friendly and professional manner
- Inform guests of daily specials and let them know a server will be with them shortly
- Inform servers of new arrivals, and space guests out as to not overwhelm servers
- Check the reservation book and server line-up and plan accordingly
- Help clean and bus tables
- Help maintain a clean and stocked restaurant
- Be able to food run when directed, ensuring food orders are correctly prepared, and garnished correctly, and deliver food to the proper guests or server
