In this role as a Ramp Service Clerk you will play an important part of our world-leading ground operation at the SEA Airport. With a focus on safety and attention to detail, you will be responsible for completing various aspects of ramp service functions, with a primary focus on the fueling of Ground Support Equipment
This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading baggage and cargo compartments of airplanes of any type
- Perform all exterior or interior aircraft cleaning
- Provisioning any and all aircraft with cabin service supplies
- May work at airfreight docks receiving, dispatching, and staging airfreight, air mail, and other cargo
- May be required to clean the exterior of aircraft with specialized cleaning fluids
- May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps and facilities
- Will be assigned to perform routine automotive repair, servicing, fueling, and cleaning of powered and unpowered equipmentMinimum Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- *This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.**Preferred Skills
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
- Ability to successfully communicate with others.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
