The Network Technician performs installation and termination of structured cabling systems.

Duties:

Installing support structures (J-Hooks, support rings, cable slings and cable tray/ladder rack).
Helps in the termination of workstation outlets and closet equipment. (110 & 66 blocks and patch panels)
Identify, pull, and label CAT3,5,5E,6 and fiber optic cable.
Test and troubleshoot cables.
Respond to user questions and/or problems in an efficient and effective manner.
Respond to beeper calls from Operations on programming problems regarding assigned applications.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years or older.
Knowledge of cable systems test equipment preferred.
Knowledge of desktop computers preferred.
Must be able to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, lift more than 50lbs.
Must have analytical skills for communication.
Must have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
