OBJECTIVE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operates and monitors machinery used in the production process.
· Troubleshoot commonplace problems and make operational adjustments.
· Perform basic preventative maintenance on assigned machine such as cleaning, replacing bits, rollers, etc.
· Assures quality of finish production product.
· Participate in periodical activities, physical inventories, etc.
· Maintain safe, clean and organized work area

ABILITY TO:

· Work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
· Meet quotas.
· Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production quality with minimal wasted time and materials.
· Ability to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift, if needed.
· Willingness to work overtime, if needed.
· Ability to listen, understand and follow directions.
· Ability to concentrate, focus and pay strict attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
· Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
· Requires the use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations.
· Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
· Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, 50 pounds and above.
· Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
