Special Needs Live-In Nanny/Jr. Nanny-Family Assistant.
Work 8 hours a day. ASD, ADHD & Behavioral Support for the son, light housekeeping, laundry, food prep, errands.

About the Family:
This family is warm, respectful, and collaborative. They’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can offer stability, fun, and encouragement in a calm, well-managed home.
Mom is a stay-at-home parent and seeks a thoughtful, team-oriented caregiver who can partner with her in supporting her children and home.
Children:
- Boy, Age 9 – Sweet, loving, intelligent, chatty, very low frustration tolerance, and motivation to do things. Requires a lot of support to manage transitions calmly. Loves adult attention. Needs a buddy who can play silly games with him and make him laugh. We are looking for someone extremely patient and loving who wants to work with a child with special needs. More than anything, he loves video games (Minecraft/Mario/Roblox). The caregiver(s) must be proactive and self-motivated—someone who can plan for downtime and what activities they will do together.
- Girl, Age 13 – Very self-sufficient, so the caregiver would mostly be with our son, though sometimes driving her to/from activities. She may also help her with cooking in the kitchen. Her interests are softball, reading, and hanging with friends..
Schedule Options:
- Live-In: Wednesday – Sunday. One weekend off/ month
Role Overview:
Seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced Nanny/JR. Nanny with Special Needs expertise , especially in ASD, ADHD, and behavior support. The primary focus is on a loving, highly verbal 9-year-old boy who enjoys silly games, video games, and positive attention. He requires calm guidance, structure, and a playful, patient caregiver(s) who can help manage transitions with kindness and humor.
You’ll occasionally assist his 13-year-old sister and work closely with a stay-at-home mother to ensure a happy and organized home environment.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- Extremely patient, nurturing, and consistent
- Proactive, creative, and a natural self-starter
- Experience with autism, behavioral support, and emotional regulation
- Playful and imaginative—loves crafts, drama, storytelling, or video games
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide structured care and behavioral support to the 9-year-old
- Light cooking for children
- Light housekeeping: tidying, dishes, laundry, making beds
- Drive children to activities and outings
- Support with organization projects (closets, toys, pantry)
- Prepare for downtime with engaging activities and transitions
- Occasional overnight care
Required Experience:
- Experience with autism and/or behavioral needs
- Experience with school-aged children
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Prior work as a nanny or family assistant preferred
- Two years of nanny experience w/excellent references
Compensation:
Annually, 73 K Hourly $35.
