Job Duties:

  • Transport & operate Laser Screed
  • Perform minor maintenance on Laser Screed (Grease, clean, check fluid levels, drain water during cold temps, replace small parts from truck stock, etc)
  • Communicate with Mechanics & Foremen on schedule and repairs
  • Maintain truck/trailer inventory to perform minor maintenance on site
  • Be involved with Foreman & Supervisor with pre-planning pours and creating a pour schedule.
  • Operate skid loaders, forklifts, and other small construction equipment
  • Train & communicate with back-up screed operator
  • Operate hand tools and equipment
  • Detailed workmanship and quality control
  • Efficiently work in a fast paced environment
  • Work with other crews as needed when not operating Laser Screed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

  • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work
  • CDL (preferred) or ability to obtain CDL & FedMed card
  • Knowledge of basic math skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints (preferred)
  • Ability to travel - usually within the state of WI
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (0-80 lbs from ground to waist level, 0-50 lbs from ground to shoulder level)
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop and bend for long periods of time while performing physical labor
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Must possess skills to multi-task and meet deadlines
