🚛 Flatbed Truck Driver – Local Shuttle (Lafayette, IN)

📍 Job Location

• Work within a 50-mile radius of Lafayette, IN

🚚 Job Details

• Route: Local shuttle  with some nearby runs

• Miles: Local only (no long-distance driving)

• Schedule:

  • 3rd Shift: Thursday night to Monday night

  • Hours: 10 PM – 6 AM

  • Days Off: Tuesday & Wednesday

• Home Time: Home every day

• Work Hours: Around 50 hours per week

🛻 Equipment

• Trucks: 2016–2023 Kenworth

• Trailers: Step decks and flatbeds

• Day shift drivers might also pull dry vans

📦 Freight

• Engines, generators, radiators (live load & unload)

🚦 Truck Speed

• Governed at 65 mph

💰 Pay

$27/hr 

• Overtime: Paid time-and-a-half after 40 hours

🎁 Bonuses

• $500 – Paid on second paycheck

• $3,000 – Paid in three parts:

  • $1,000 on second paycheck

  • $1,000 after 60 days

  • $1,000 after 120 days

🅿️ Parking

• Onsite parking available

✅ Requirements

• 1 year of driving experience (with at least 6 months flatbed in last 3 years)

• Securement training with chains and binders (required)

• Must be available to work weekends

• Extra training in chain & binder securement is a plus

📝 Other Info

• Overtime available on weekends depending on plant needs

• Weekly schedule provided on Thursdays

• Orientation takes place in Atlanta (ATL)

• Not a slip seat (you keep the same truck – but this could change)
