Job Title: Technical / Application Support Specialist
Location: Austin, TX 78701
(role is onsite, 5 days a week for first 90 to 120 days). Afterwards,
potential to go to a hybrid schedule , 3 days a week in office.
Duration: Fulltime, Permanent
Compensation: $70,000 – 75,000 in annual salary
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Job Details: Initially, you will support existing customers in my clients Technical Support organization. After establishing yourself as an exemplary technical resource, and becoming Certified within my clients products, there will be available career paths on your journey to positions in Technical Sales Engineering , Software Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Product, etc.
What You’ll Bring: Must Haves - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
- Technical aptitude to quickly grasp complex concepts and articulate them effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills including working with the executive level.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
Nice to Haves - Experience writing and optimizing large SQL queries in platforms such as Snowflake, Postgres, MariaDB or Oracle .
- Familiarity of RESTful APIs and authentication such as OAuth and JWT .
- Experience in systems integrations via APIs, middleware, and tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato .
- Experience with Single Sign On platforms and protocols such as Okta, Microsoft Azure, AWS Identity, SAML, MFA, OIDC, and SCIM.
- Data analysis and report creation experience utilizing Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience within the Atlassian suite of products is preferred.
- Experience with ticketing applications , Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, etc.
- Experience with Unix, Linux, and terminal.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Basic understanding of networking including DNS, VPN, SSL, etc.

Education: - Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields
